MCO’s founder Alexander Brott brings Beethoven’s Québec connection to life. “Freu dich des Lebens” a short canon which Beethoven gave as a gift to Québec music teacher Theodore Molt, is transmogrified into a series of orchestral variations of contrasting fire and serene beauty created for Beethoven’s bicentenary. |
